Mat has gained a reputation as a skilled and knowledgeable attorney. He is actively involved with various bar and charitable organizations. He concentrates his practice in the area of family/domestic law, including dissolution of marriage, paternity, maintenance, child support, child custody, modification matters, and pre/post-nuptial agreements, and has also recently expanded his practice to include criminal law and civil litigation. Mat has received Guardian Ad Litem training and is appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem for minor children in custody cases. Mat was recognized as a "Missouri-Kansas Super Lawyers Rising Star" in 2009.
